Having our own boards means we can tweak/customise things a bit, to suit our needs.
One tweak that I have installed is a plugin that allows you to use a different avatar on a post-by-post basis. Instead of needing a separate account for "Oliver Queen" and "Green Arrow", I can have just one account, and switch out the avatar to show whether he is in costume or not. If Ronnie and Caitlin cross paths with young Martin Stein, I can just change the avatar, instead of needing a whole separate account.
All you need to do is host your alternate avatars on the internet somewhere (I suggest imgur: it's free and easy to use), and pop the URL in the field.
Whether you take advantage of this plugin is up to you. I will definitely be using this for Oliver and Wally, but I probably won't use it for Hector Hall, since Doctor Fate is his own character and he might not be Hector in some circumstances. J'onn J'onzz will probably make use of this plugin a lot, especially if he's swapping faces as a temporary/one-off thing, though I'm also playing around with an NPC plugin that might be useful for J'onn's more substantive identities (like Raisa), or characters like Firestorm or Commissioner Gordon where different people might want/need to write as them under different circumstances. I'll keep you posted!
