I cannot think of a better name for this thread, but yes. We have some characters whose destiny is completely off the rails, as far as canon is concerned: Robins who were never Robins, villains who were never villains, and so forth. These are they.
Dick Grayson
Was never adopted by Bruce Wayne, and so never became Robin. We have not yet decided if he was adopted by someone else and lived a completely different life, or if he stayed with Haly's Circus. If the latter, he was likely snatched by the Court of Owls and trained to be one of their Talon assassins/enforcers, as per comics and things.
Tommy Elliot
Instead of being Malcolm Merlyn's son, our version of Tommy is Tommy Elliot, who in the comics/etc gets super jealous of Bruce Wayne's dead parents getting him so much attention, so secretly murders his dad, and ultimately winds up going full wackadoodle and becoming the villain Hush. In our version of stuff, he ends up with Oliver Queen as a best friend instead, and everything turns out great. He's super nice, and he's the doctor who is going to help with Connor's recovery when he's dumb and gets shot in the noggin. (We have a plan in our back pocket for someone mystical to restore Tommy's memories of who he "should" be, and play around with how that makes his character unravel.)
Hal Jordan
Rather than Hal Jordan stumbling across Abin Sur's crashed alien spaceship, the ship - as well as it's pilot and their ring - were recovered by the United States Air Force. (This is a plot from... Red Son, I think?). Hal Jordan never became Green Lantern, and so Alan Scott is still the only Green Lantern in town, and there's way less alien awareness of, interest in, and interaction with Earth - not until Superman and Brainiac and what-not. This probably has some space politics ramifications with Sinestro and all that jazz, but that's a problem for future us to figure out.
Abin Sur
Slight twist: the military finding Abin Sur means they were able to keep him alive, and a prisoner all these years. One of our Justice League adventures is the Green Lantern Corps attacking in 2011 to rescue him, which is a catalyst for a whole bunch of stuff. He is probably now the "leader" of the Green Lantern Corps if we ever come across them, but that's another thing for future us to worry about.
Guy Gardner
If Hal never became a Green Lantern, then Guy Gardner never became his substitute. Our current plans for him involve running an alcohol-free bar for young people in the Silver Lakes mall.
